Alex Jeffreys Coaching – Module 4

Thanks for visiting again, why not get my Blog updates via Twitter?
Thanks! Eoin

Module 4 0f Alex Jeffreys Coaching was at 6 PM EST yesterday, 11 PM my time, so it was another long night, but well worth the sleep that was sacrificed.

Alex emphasized that we needed to take the advice he was giving us and not ignore it as “too simple” or “that won’t work” … they will work … because they have worked for him and plenty of others.

We covered getting Blogs set up right and getting together to help any students that are having problems with their Blog, or any of the other steps needed to get up to date.

We also covered some YouTube basics and I learned a few stratagies I didn’t know before.

Twitter was looked at again, to get anyone new to Twitter up to speed … and while we’re on the subject, if you’re not following me on Twitter … Why Not?
I’ll be posting information there also, as I find it, that may not get to my blog.

Alex also launched a competition aimed at getting us to implement what we have learned so far, to attract traffic from people interested in what we are doing and an added incentive, he’s put up a prize of $1,000 …

…. so I’ll be doing some work over the next few days and during the Christmas holidays to compete for that prize.

    Hi Eoin,

Just thought I’d stop by to say don’t bother going for the competition – I’m determined that I’m going to claim that $1,000 prize! :)

Some session last night with Alex wasn’t it. Four hours solid before I gave up and went to bed. According to Alex’s tweet this morning it went on for another two hours! How does he do it? And I didn’t even get a hint of boredom LOL.

    Hi Eoin,

I agree, Alex’s sessions are certainly worth the sacrificed sleep.

I’m a fellow student of Alex Jeffreys. Just wanted to say hello, and wish you all the best on your Marketing With Alex journey.

    Regards
    Gopal

    Hi Eoin,
I decided to check out your blog after linking with you through the Fortunate 500 network, that’s another great way for us to connect as fellow students. I’m adding your blog to my blog roll and hope you’ll do the same for me. Your blog looks great and it looks like you’re off to a great start, keep up the great work and best wishes to you (I don’t believe it luck, lol).

Yes, if I’ve learned anything before finding you it’s Take Action … don’t just think about what you are going to do ….. get started … do something to move forward.

Thanks for following me on twitter, I’m following you also.

I’m on Nadav’s list, my name is just misspelled, which is no big deal :-)

    Hi Eoin,
I’m also a student of Alex. I like your site. I’m wondering if you would let me know what widget you used or how you got up 2 items. The Alex Jeffrey’s Student Blog Roll and the Follow Me on Twitter link. I’ve been trying to add those to items all day with no luck. I can find twitter feeds but not follow me.

I will follow you on twitter.

    Hi Eoin,
I jsut popped over here after seeing you on Susan’s blog but I also feel as if I’ve been here before so maybe I left a camment then. Fantastic that everybody is so interconnected. I’ve been away for Christmas so haven’t seen the mammoth module 4 – that’s next.
You look like a bit of an expert so I will be following you n twitter. Thought you might have a bit of a laugh at my 12 year old son doing his first video. Hope the accent isn’t too insulting but his grandfather does live in Cork!

    Hi Betty,

To set up a second blog roll, take a look at this post, http://eoinoleary.com/2008/12/19/how-to-add-a-blog-roll/.

For the Twitter link, I made my own graphic, but if you do a search in Google for “follow me on Twitter”, you will find some free images.

Then just use your HTML editor, like Dreamweaver or NVU, to add a link to the image, to your Twitter profile.
You can find your Twitter profile link on your Twitter page, just look to the top right for Profile and copy that link.

Then add a new Text widget in your blog and copy and paste the HTML.

Let me know if this explains it.

Your son could be an actor, he has the Cork accent almost perfect :-)
